Purpose of the PTA Board of Directors:

First of all, to benefit our school, the community we live in, students in need and the needs of our school by cooperating in the activities, trips and aid campaigns organised by the PTA.

To support our school to be a successful school recognised worldwide.

To ensure that students and parents become a part of the BIS Family through activities in line with the school spirit.

Duties and Authorities of the Parent-Teacher Association Board of Directors (PTA):

To co-operate with school administration, teachers, parents and families.

To support the school's strategic plan studies and practices for quality and success in education. 

To contribute to the organisation of courses, exams, seminars, music, theatre, sports, arts, trips, bazaars and similar educational activities planned by the school administration in order to increase the success of students. 

To contribute to the utilisation of educational environments such as classrooms, gymnasiums, libraries, laboratories and workshops of the school in times other than education and training activities in cooperation with the school administration. 

To purchase goods and services to meet the needs of the school.

Accepting in-kind and cash donations made to the school, keeping records, organising social and cultural activities and campaigns, using conditional donations in accordance with their purpose.

PTA Activities and Meetings:

It organises meetings with the school administration every quarter term  and works in cooperation.

When deemed necessary, the chairman, vice chairman and board members of the PTA may hold meetings at school/outside the school.
